Where Galbi Began
Coquitlam is home to Galbi's first restaurant. Galbi started as a partnership between a wholesale meat specialist and a Vancouver Korean restaurateur, built on quality cuts at fair prices.
Many of our banchan, soups and stews are made in-house, in a warm space made for gatherings.

1. Choose your meat
Start with plain cuts, then move on to richer marinated meats.
2. Cook it on the grill
Add a few slices, flip as needed and cut them with the scissors provided. Try not to mix meats on one grill, and ask for a grill change when the surface gets too charred.
3. Explore the flavours
Mix and match with banchan (side dishes), ssam (lettuce wraps) and sauces.
4. Geonbae!
That's Korean for "cheers." Pair your BBQ with soju or beer.
